The 2025 Official White House Christmas Ornament celebrates the 150th anniversary of State Dinners at the Executive Mansion. Hand assembled, the ornament design is cut from delicate brass, etched, and printed with enamel ink and finished with 24-karat gold for the ultimate holiday shine.

It features two highly recognizable plates from the White House State China Collection. Adorned with a red and gold twist cording for elegant hanging on your tree, it comes packaged in a keepsake giftbox. Includes an educational booklet with full color photos and informative descriptions of the history of White House State China Services.

This brass ornament features the service plate from the Reagan State China Service on the front. The china was funded by a donation from the Knapp Foundation through the White House Historical Association and used by the Reagans and all presidents to follow for many State and Official Dinners, smaller private meals, and other White House events.

Central to the reverse side of the ornament is the Clinton gold-rimmed service plate, distinguished by a gilded White House in the center. In 1999, in preparation for celebrating the two-hundredth anniversary of the White House, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton accepted the offer of the White House Historical Association to fund the creation of a commemorative china service. The first service to be embellished with an image of the White House itself, the commemorative china that was first used for the gala White House dinner to celebrate the anniversary.

Both the Reagan and Clinton china services continue to be used for State and Official Dinners today.
